Look at which companies FAIL the responsive web design test. I was shocked!

I thought it would be interesting to take a look at “The 2014 List of “The Top 33 small Companies to Work for in Oregon” according to www.OregonBusiness.com.

My main point of interest was to test each one to see if the company has invested in their website and made it responsive. I was SHOCKED to find out after testing ONLY the first top ten that NONE of them are built with a responsive design and therefor they are providing their customers and potential customers sub-par experiences.  If you or someone you know owns a business and the website is not built with a responsive design give us a call at 503-997-6935.

Test your site now to see how it looks on multiple devices: http://ami.responsivedesign.is/

or use Firefox to test it > Under “tools” > “web developer” > “responsive design view”

See for yourself how these company FAIL at having a responsive website design. The responsive website design is designed in a specific way to allow the layout to change and adapt beautifully and function correctly based on what device a customer accesses it from.  A good company will keep all devices in mind when creating a layout to make sure it is responsive and it’s even possible to go as far as creating different websites or landing pages specifically for different devices based on user behaviors known to those devices.
